ALI ANGEL - THE DEBUT EP
The self-titled, 6 track EP oozes with bits of retro soul and California country, featuring live horns, strings, wurlitzer and Angel's rich, textured vocals, all recorded through tape. Released independently in June of 2022, the project has already amassed almost 200k streams on Spotify alone, with tracks like the retro, beachy "Hideaway" gaining a placement on Youtube Music's "The New Americana" playlist.

Angel and her band have been playing packed out gigs in LA venues for the past three years. Her backing band consists of the same musicians who record and co-produce her music, making for live performances that sound just like her records.
Angel's band has made such an imprint in the LA scene that they participated in the sold out Stagecoach Battle of the Bands 2023 at Desert 5 Spot, and will be performing on Nikki Lane's Horseshoe Stage for Stagecoach 2024.

Thanks to their tight sound and palpable chemistry on stage, they’ve earned themselves residencies at LA staples such as Good Times at Davey Waynes and Bar Lubitsch, sold out The Hotel Cafe Main Stage and performed headlining slots at selective stages like Gold Diggers and Desert 5 Spot, where she regularly performs with her band and their all-star house band for events.
Angel was additionally a top 5 finalist in a competition to play at The Dinah Shore, the biggest annual women’s queer festival in Palm Springs, CA, as well as Jam In the Van’s competition to perform at Whalerock Festival 2023.

Angel’s upcoming EP recorded in Eagle Rock with Ryan Pollie is Angel's best work yet; a collection of 4 standout songs that span from classic soulful Americana to Bee Gee's reminiscent upbeat soul and 90's nostalgic indie pop. The first single from the project, "Tell Me" comes out Friday, August 18th of this year.
